COPING WITH HEAT IN HOT WEATHER
When there is heat, we sweat or perspire and as a result lost mineral salt and trace element, the composition of what is lost is lactic acid water and sodium account for 0.9g, potassium 0.2g litres. Calcium 0.015g litre. Mg 0.0013g litre. Water excreted by some adult through sweating may amount to about 2.4litres per hour or 10.14litres daily.
In pre-puberty, children, sweating may sap the body about 10 to 15 grammes. These mineral is lost during hot weather through sweating. To replace this you can your day with a breakfast of banana and Avocado smoothies and put pinches of Spirulina, wheatgrass, Kale and chlorella. Banana and Avocado will produce lots of potassium while mineral and some vitamins will come from the greens that you take.
Fresh greens are high in vitamin A, carotene. Therefore eat greens to replenish the mineral lost in the body.
